Japanese knife Re-handling

Description

Artisan Knives offer traditional Japanese knife re handling. These techniques were learnt in person from a master knife sharpener in Japan.

• Is your handle damaged?
• Do you want to go from oval to octagonal handle or vice versa?
• Do you fancy a different type of wood/colour?

We offer the service of installing a new handle to your blade. The handle is additional to the service cost. Please choose a handle from our range.

This service is only valid for hand forged Japanese knives. The tang on hand forged Japanese knives make a good interaction with the Wa style handles.

Western or stamped Japanese knives don’t have the best fit with these handles.
